Brand guidelines and brand materials

Brand guidelines define how your brand looks in digital communication. To create your store, prepare approved rules for using your logo, colors, fonts, and graphic elements.

Connect applies your visual identity to the store design. If guidelines have not been defined, we first arrange their preparation so that decisions about colors, fonts, and the logo are not left unresolved.

Clients present their visual identity guidelines to the Connect team in a meeting room.

01 · PREPARATION AND REVIEW

What brand guidelines should include

Provide the primary logo and permitted variations, clear space, minimum permitted size, and examples of correct and incorrect use. Specifically mark the versions for light and dark backgrounds.

List corporate colors for digital use, such as HEX and RGB values, font hierarchy, and permitted weights. Add guidelines for photography, icons, and other distinctive elements where available.

02 · PREPARATION AND REVIEW

Files and usage rights

Along with the PDF brand guidelines, send the original vector logo files and available web exports. A logo image within the document or a photo of a business card does not replace a quality source file.

Check whether the selected font may be used on the web and provide licensing information. If digital use is not permitted or the source is unavailable, we will agree on an alternative solution before implementation.

03 · PREPARATION AND REVIEW

What if the identity is not complete?

Write what you already have, what has been approved, and what still needs to be created. Do not send multiple different logos without marking which one is current. Keep the old identity separate from the newly approved version.

Connect can offer logo and brand guidelines creation. The scope of this service is agreed separately; identity preparation is not automatically the same service as adapting the store's appearance.
